Another historic building is the Kampung Keling Mosque, built in the 17th century. Melaka also hosts the Cheng Hoon Teng temple, which is believed to be the oldest Chinese temple in the Malaysia. Melaka is also known for its heritage museums, such as the Baba and Nonya Heritage Museum where heirlooms, art pieces, carvings and such can be viewed.
